ENFIELD, CT — A $3 investment in a CT Lottery scratch ticket turned into a $25,000 windfall recently for an Enfield resident, who purchased his lucky ticket at the Stop & Shop supermarket on Hazard Ave.

Due to a recent change in lottery rules regarding publication of winners' names, the player was identified as simply Matthew K. He claimed the winnings from his Cashword 30 ticket May 5, according to the CT Lottery website.

The CT Lottery routinely publishes public information about wins of $10,000 or more.
