Woman Killed in Crash Worked in Enfield

A young mother who died along with her 5-year-old son in an auto accident Monday in the Terryville section of Plymouth worked for an Enfield-based company, WFSB-TV reported.

Melissa Odelius, 29, and her son George died as a result of injuries sustained when their car slammed into a house on South Main Street shortly before 9 p.m. Monday.

Another son, Thomas, 3, was injured in the crash, but is recuperating with his grandmother, Channel 3 reported.

Odelius, who grew up in West Hartford and graduated from Hall High School, worked for Premier Property Management of Enfield as a property manager.
