1 Hospitalized Following Lawn Mower Accident In Chester: Police
The accident happened early Tuesday afternoon, according to state police.
CHESTER, CT — A patient was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after an accident involving a lawn mower Tuesday.
State police said troopers and emergency medical personnel responded to Wig Hill Road in Chester around 12:51 p.m. Tuesday for a medical assistance call.
Police dispatch told emergency responders the victim had reportedly gone off a cliff on a riding mower, which then landed on top of the person.

State police would not confirm details of the incident Tuesday evening, however.
State police said the patient was transported to a hospital, and the individual’s injuries were not life-threatening.
