Essex Board of Trade (EBOT) is excited to launch its fifth annual summer Alfresco Essex campaign, firing up on the summer solstice, June 21, and running through autumnal equinox, September 23. Join us to Experience Essex in all its open-air vibrancy.
The three villages of Essex – Centerbrook, Essex, and Ivoryton – are about to buzz with restaurant diners spilling onto patios, terraces, and decks. Essex marinas and boat launches will be active with boaters, kayakers, and paddleboarders accessing the beautiful Connecticut River.
Julia Hutchinson, President of the EBOT says, “Alfresco Essex defines the open-air experience that is central to our Experience Essex brand. It reinforces the fact that alfresco vibes are prominent every day in Essex, and in all three villages – Centerbrook, Essex and Ivoryton.”

About Essex Board of Trade (EBOT)
Incorporated in January 1999, the EBOT is comprised of business members in Essex Township’s three villages - Essex, Centerbrook, and Ivoryton. The EBOT is managed by a volunteer board of directors who are dedicated to promoting a vibrant community for residents, visitors, and businesses to enjoy and thrive in. The EBOT sponsors many of the Essex events that have become beloved community traditions. The organization also decorates the Main Streets of Essex villages to celebrate the seasons – American flags for summer, scarecrows for fall, and garlands and lights to celebrate the winter holidays.
