The kitchen has a professional Jade stove and looks out on a landscaped, private backyard, and a barn offers flex space for a gym, office or hobby room. It's a three-bedroom, two-bath home with 1,694 square feet.
92 Water St., Chester, noon to 2 p.m., $269,900. This 1927 Colonial sits right on the water with river views, a short stroll from downtown Chester's boutiques, art galleries and restaurants, according to the listing. It can also be bought together with the adjacent 90 Water St. It's a three-bedroom, one-bath home with 1,217 square feet on 0.27 acres. Its price was cut by $15,000 on Sept. 23.
60 Bushy Hill Road, Essex, 1 to 3 p.m., $928,000. Make a weekend of it: on Saturday, start on Main Street in Deep River at 11, head to the water in Chester at noon and finish on Bushy Hill Road in Essex. Sunday's three noon open houses are a short drive apart, from Long Hill Road and the reservoir to Ivoryton.
