Looking for an awesome day out with your pup? Please join Homeward Bound CT as we host our 11th annual FAIR FOR DOGS on Sat and Sun, Sep 13-14, 2025, from 10a-3p at the Chester Fairgrounds, 11 Kirtland Terrace, Chester CT.
Wait. A FAIR for DOGS? Sure, they’ll need to bring their humans, but EVERYONE has fun - we promise you. This fair is our annual fundraiser that covers expenses for our semi-annual shelter dog adoption events so please join in the fun or share the word for us. HBCT organizes, hosts, and promotes adoption events to help rescues get their dogs adopted – at no cost to them! We were started by a group of friends who are committed to finding homes for the millions of dogs who are languishing and dying in kill shelters across the country.

Lure course, food trucks, beer and wine tent, Doggie Olympics, live music, demonstrations, nail and face trimming, microchipping, Canine Good Citizenship testing, raffles, tie-dye t-shirts, nearly 90 vendors selling everything from doggie ice cream to homemade dog treats!
Admission only $5 per person, $10 per family! For the safety of all attendees, please no retractable leashes. Thank you!
