All are invited to celebrate Holy Week with Deep River Congregational Church, March 29-April 5, 2026, which begins with Palm Sunday and ends with Easter.

On March 29, Palm Sunday, early worship is at 8:30 a.m. A festive Holy Week coffee hour will be held in Fellowship Hall at 9:00 a.m. between services. The 10:00 a.m. worship service includes the senior choir, chancel handbell choir and is live-streamed. Faith Explorers will hold its Palm Parade at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary, followed by the annual Egg-Stravaganza in the church courtyard for an Easter Egg Hunt along with an Easter Craft.

April 2 at 7:00 p.m., the Maundy Thursday Service of Communion will be held in the church sanctuary.

April 3 at 6:00 p.m., a Good Friday Soup and Bread Supper will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall. A Good Friday Tenebrae Service will follow in the church sanctuary at 7:00 p.m.

April 5 is Easter Sunday, with 3 services offered:

  • 6:15 a.m., Easter Sunrise Service at the top of Fountain Hill Cemetery in Deep River
  • 8:30 a.m., Early Service at Deep River Congregational Church
  • 10:00 a.m., Easter Service at Deep River Congregational Church with the senior choir and chancel handbell choir (live-streamed)
