1 Dead After Fairfield Crash: Police
The male driver, who appeared to be the only person involved in the crash, was found dead inside the vehicle, according to Fairfield police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are investigating an overnight crash in Fairfield after the driver was found dead at the scene. The incident was reported about 1:45 a.m. Saturday after a vehicle hit a parked car and then a tree in a yard on Black Rock Turnpike near Finn Street, according to a news release from the police department. The male driver, who appeared to be the only person involved in the crash, was found dead inside the vehicle, police said. The driver's identity was being withheld Saturday morning pending notification of family, according to police.
