2 Arrested In Fairfield In Stolen Vehicle Case That Started In Greenwich: Police
The two tried to run from police before being captured, according to authorities.

FAIRFIELD, CT ā Two New Britain men were arrested last week in Fairfield in connection with a stolen vehicle case that originated in Greenwich, according to authorities.
At about 7 p.m. on Friday, Fairfield County Regional Dispatch was informed that there were two vehicles stolen out of Greenwich, one of which was located in Fairfield.
"Two occupants fled from the vehicle, who were subsequently located by Fairfield Police," Fairfield Police Sgt. Jenna Wellington told Patch.

Arrested were Victor Manuel Ortiz and Cristian Efrain Martinez, both on a misdemeanor charge of interfering with police.
Additional details about the stolen vehicles were not immediately available.

Both suspects, who have a court date of April 29 on the Fairfield charge, were turned over to Greenwich police for additional charges as part of the investigation.
