2 Fairfield Residents Win Combined $50,000 From CT Lottery
The winners both hit with lucky scratch-off games, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Two Fairfield residents are a combined $50,000 richer this week after claiming winning scratch-off lottery tickets, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Thursday, Nicolae B. won $30,000 with a 30X Cash 10th Edition ticket bought at Swift Mart on Brooklawn Avenue in Fairfield.
And on Friday, Steven B. won $20,000 with a 20X Cash 8th Edition ticket bought at the Wheels gas station on Old Stratford Road in Shelton.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.
The 30X and 20X games costs $30 and $20 per ticket, respectively; the 30X game began in February, while the 20X game began in June 2022.

As of Friday, the 30X game had 58 unclaimed grand prizes of $30,000, while the 20X game had 20 unclaimed grand prizes of $20,000, according to lottery officials.
More than 2.8 million 20X game tickets have been printed, while more than 1 million 30X game tickets have been printed. Overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.53 (30X), and 1 in 4.08 (20X).
