FAIRFIELD, CT — A fire destroyed two garages Friday night in Fairfield.
Neighbors reported the blaze about 9:30 p.m. on Turney Road, according to Assistant Chief George Gomola, who said that a single-car garage caught fire first and the flames spread to a nearby two-car garage.
The fire took about 30 minutes to get under control, Gomola said, adding Assistant Chief Roger Caisse oversaw the effort. No one was injured, but both structures were destroyed.
