2-Time Olympian Kristen Santos-Griswold To Be Honored In Fairfield

Santos-Griswold, a short track speed skater, competed last month in the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield will hold a ceremony Tuesday to honor hometown Olympian Kristen Santos-Griswold with an official proclamation recognizing her athletic achievements and community impact.

The event will be held at Fairfield Warde High School and will include remarks from First Selectperson Christine Vitale, a reading of the town proclamation, comments from school headmaster Paul Cavanna and remarks from Santos-Griswold.

Santos-Griswold, a short track speed skater who has represented Team USA in international competition, has earned multiple World Cup medals and competed at the highest levels of the sport. She is a two-time Olympian, competing in both the 2022 and 2026 Winter Games.
