$20,000 Winning CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket Sold In Fairfield
The lottery win is the second in Fairfield in less than a week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A Fairfield resident is $20,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket he purchased locally, the second lottery win in town in the past week, according to the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Monday, Brendan Keenan Tibball claimed a winning "Red Hot BINGO" ticket he bought at the AMG Retail store at 3232 Post Road in Southport.
The Connecticut Lottery publishes winner information as public record, according to officials. Last Thursday, a local resident claimed a $10,000 prize from a ticket he bought in Fairfield.

The Red Hot BINGO game, which costs $2 per ticket, began this past July, and is marked as "ending soon." As of Tuesday, only one grand prize of $20,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 1.6 million tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.81.
