2026 Fairfield Sidewalk Sale & Street Fair Returns In July

The popular downtown event features local businesses, family activities and live music.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Town of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor the Fairfield Sidewalk Sale & Street Fair on July 18 in downtown Fairfield, according to the town's Office of Community & Economic Development.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will take place rain or shine in Fairfield Center. Some participating merchants will begin offering sale merchandise previews on July 16.

More than 50 Fairfield businesses are expected to take part, setting up stands and offering merchandise for sale. Admission is free.

Sherman Green is scheduled to host activities for children and families, including an inflatable bounce house. Live music performances are also planned at several downtown locations.

Town officials said a full lineup of activities and entertainment will be announced in the coming weeks.
