4 Teams Improve Rankings In Latest Weekly High School Softball Poll

The top two teams maintained their positions in the most recent balloting of coaches and sports media members.

CONNECTICUT — The top two positions remained unchanged in the latest weekly Connecticut high school softball poll, but four teams improved their positions from the previous week.

Fairfield Ludlowe stayed on top, collecting 10 of 14 first-place votes, while Southington received three top nods to remain second. Cheshire as the lone new entry this week, finishing eighth in the balloting.

Here are the top 10, with first-place votes and last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other teams receiving support.
