Accident Reported On Merritt Parkway In Fairfield
State officials reported the right lane was closed Tuesday morning.
FAIRFIELD, CT — A vehicle accident was reported Tuesday morning on southbound Merritt Parkway in Fairfield. The incident occurred between exits 44 and 42, involved one vehicle and caused the right lane to be closed, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation, which reported the accident about 11:15 a.m. The scene took about 30 minutes to clear, the department reported.
