FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce announced it will hold its 24th annual Spring Fling fundraiser and silent auction on April 29 at the Penfield Pavilion in Fairfield.
The event, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will include food tastings from local restaurants, an open bar with wine, beer and soft drinks, and a silent auction featuring items such as golf outings, beauty packages, event tickets and gift cards. Organizers said proceeds will support the chamber’s programs for the local business community.
New this year, the event will include a partnership with Sacred Heart University’s Discovery Science Center and Planetarium, which will provide telescopes for outdoor sky viewing from approximately 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., weather permitting.
Participating food vendors include Geronimo’s Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, Catering by Christine, Joylark Plant Kitchen and Bar, Mini Munch Sliders/Crafted & Catered, Ryebird/Saignon Snack Bar, Kelli’s Kitchen, BE Chocolat, Nordic Fish and Quattro Pazzi. Beverage offerings will include beer from Elicit Brewing Company and a signature cocktail created by Fifth State Distillery, along with a rosé wine bar sponsored by Mo’s Wine and Spirits.
The event is open to the public. Tickets are priced at $65 for chamber members and $75 for nonmembers, with a $10 surcharge for walk-in attendees. Additional information and registration are available through the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce website or by contacting the chamber office.
