FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield High School Boys Ice Hockey Booster Club, representing the Warde/Ludlowe co-op team, will host its annual cornhole tournament at Jennings Beach on Sunday, May 17, beginning at 11 a.m. Organizers noted that, as the event falls the weekend before Memorial Day, parking passes will not be required.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the team and will be shared with ALS United Connecticut. The event will include prizes for top finishers and a 50/50 raffle.

Booster club president Ari Jacobson said the tournament serves as both a fundraiser and a community gathering, with past proceeds supporting team-related events such as senior night. Cost is $50 per team, or $25 per player.
"This is always a fun morning at the beach, raising money for the boys, and ALS United," Jacobson said.
The booster club supports the Fairfield High School hockey program, a cooperative team made up of players from Fairfield Warde and Fairfield Ludlowe high schools, which practices and plays at the SHU Martire Family Arena. (Instagram @FairfieldPuck)
