FAIRFIELD, CT —A new salon has opened in downtown Fairfield at 1040 Post Road.
Fairfield Hair House, owned by June Chen and Marco DiVincenzo, cuts hair for both men and women, and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday.
Chen, who cut hair for 20 years in New York, teamed up with DiVincenzo, who owned the Fairfield Barbershop on Unquowa Road. That shop recently closed to make room for a new housing development.
"This is a very beautiful time to have something that you can build, you know?" Chen told Patch. "I'm very grateful."
The shop, located next to Hansen's Flower Shop, cuts all kinds of hairstyles, and also specializes in providing treatments for a healthier scalp.
"Precision haircuts, modern styling, and a welcoming atmosphere," the salon's website reads. "At Hair House, we focus on quality, consistency, and helping every client leave looking and feeling their best."
"We wish you years of success here," First Selectperson Christine Vitale.
