Free Careers in Manufacturing Panel For Teens & Tweens at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club

Join Wakeman Boys & Girls Club (WBGC) on Wednesday, May 13 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM for a Careers in Manufacturing Panel, bringing together local industry professionals, educators, and business leaders to inspire and inform the greater Bridgeport-area tweens and teens. It is hosted at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club’s Madison Avenue Community Clubhouse at 595 Madison Avenue. Dinner is included! Advance registration is requested.

This engaging event will introduce students to a wide range of opportunities in today’s high-tech manufacturing field, from hands-on roles to advanced technology careers. Panelists will share their career journeys, highlight multiple pathways, including direct entry, community college, and four-year degrees. The panelists will offer practical advice on how young people can begin exploring this in-demand industry. The goal of the program is to spark interest, build awareness, and connect local youth to meaningful career opportunities right here in Connecticut.
