FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield Public Library and The Friends of the Library are preparing for their Big Spring Book Sale, set for May 15-17 in the Rotary Room at the Main Library in Fairfield. The three-day event will offer thousands of gently used books, DVDs and other special items for shoppers of all ages and interests.
New this year, the sale will also include pre-loved CDs and vinyl record albums. Most items are priced at $1 or $2, according to the library, while a number of unique items will be priced at $5 and up. Pop-up specials are also planned during the sale, featuring a free book in the highlighted genre of the day with a purchase.
The sale is a fundraiser for the library, and all money raised will support Fairfield Public Library programs and services that are offered free to the public.
Sale hours begin Friday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event will continue Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and wrap up Sunday, May 17, from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
