Fairfield RTC Seeks Candidates for Judge of Probate and State Representative (132 District)

The Fairfield RTC is currently seeking qualified, registered Republicans interested in running for Judge of Probate and State Representative, 132nd District (Fairfield RTC)

Fairfield, CT — The Fairfield Republican Town Committee (RTC) has announced that it will hold a caucus to endorse candidates for Judge of Probate (4-year term) and State Representative for the 132nd District (2-year term).

The Fairfield RTC is currently seeking qualified, registered Republicans interested in running for either office. Individuals interested in pursuing the party’s endorsement are encouraged to come forward.

Eligibility for Party Endorsement
Under party rules, only enrolled members of the Fairfield Republican Party may be nominated at the RTC caucus. Candidates must submit a written statement to the Town Chairman or Secretary via email at rtc@fairfieldrtc.com at least 15 days before the caucus, requesting that their name be placed on the ballot.

The statement must include the candidate’s name and address, and the office and term sought. Nominations may also be made from the floor, provided they are submitted prior to the commencement of voting. Deadline to submit a letter of intent is Monday, May 11, 2026.
