FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Fairfield announced plans to publish a 2026-27 edition of the Fairfield Visitors Guide and Business Directory as part of the town’s 250th anniversary celebration.
The full-color guide will include information about living and working in Fairfield, leisure activities and town resources. It also will feature Fairfield business listings organized alphabetically and by category.
According to the announcement, the center spread will include historic information and photos provided by the Fairfield Museum and History Center. Copies also will be distributed during the town’s July 4 event.
The publication will be available online as an eBook linked through the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce website and the town website.
Advertising reservations are due May 28. Advertising opportunities are open to Fairfield businesses, including Chamber members and nonmembers. Businesses also may participate through video or display advertising, according to the announcement.

The chamber said 2,500 printed copies will be distributed through several channels, including advertisers and Chamber members, the Fairfield Public Library, Pequot Library, the Fairfield Department of Economic Development Office and the First Selectperson’s Office.
Copies also will be distributed during freshman orientation and parents’ weekends at Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University, at Chamber events, and at Connecticut and New York City tourism events.
