Author George Aldo Barrios will hold a Meet & Greet at the Fairfeld University Store (1499 Post Road) from 7 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28. He will be discussing his memoir, Sometimes Wrong But Never in Doubt: How a Cuban Kid from Queens Transformed WWE.
Sometimes Wrong but Never in Doubt is a business memoir about grit, reinvention, and leadership under pressure. George Barrios traces his journey from Flushing, Queens, as the son of Cuban immigrants, to the top of sports and media, where he helped transform WWE into a global, multi-platform entertainment business. The book combines personal story with lessons on strategy, execution, risk, and resilience.
Barrios is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Isos Capital Management and an investor, board member, and operator across sports, media, and entertainment. He is a Director and investor of Global Sport Group, Co-Chair and investor of Equine Network, a UConn Board of Trustee, former National Board Chair of Make-A-Wish America, and former board member of WWE and Bowlero.
He is best known for his tenure as Co-President and Board Member of WWE, where he helped transform the company into a global, multi-platform entertainment business
