FAIRFIELD, CT — One hundred two new businesses registered with the state in Fairfield in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.
One of the unique entries was DuncanAlastair LLC, which registered under the ornamental and architectural metal work manufacturing category on July 6. 111 Motorsports LLC registered as a sports and recreation instructor, and Angelo Amendola Books LLC registered under independent writers and performers.
A large share of the month's filings listed the same Post Road suite as their registered address, a common practice for businesses using a registered agent service.
State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
