FAIRFIELD, CT — A public workshop has been scheduled in Fairfield on Wednesday, Aug. 26, on the town's Safe Streets for All initiative, organizers announced.
The event, which will feature a presentation on the Safety Action Plan, will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria at Fairfield Warde High School, 755 Melville Ave.
Fairfield's Safe Streets for All initiative is a 10-year strategy to achieve safer roadways. It aligns with the town's adoption of a Vision Zero policy in 2024.
"Come to the Public Workshop for a presentation sharing findings from data analysis and community engagement," organizers wrote on Facebook. "Hear a presentation on the Safety Action Plan, learn what we heard from residents, and be part of the discussion about goals and recommendations to make Fairfield's streets safer for everyone."
Following the presentation will be an opportunity for open dialogue with the Project Team.
