FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Board of Finance is scheduled to discuss a financial update on the town's speed camera enforcement program when it meets Tuesday.
Fairfield's controversial speed camera program, which the Representative Town Meeting voted last week to continue, took in close to $3 million in June and July, according to officials.

The update is one of two financial reports listed for discussion at the board's Sept. 1 meeting.
Board members also are scheduled to hear and discuss the town's Purchasing Quarterly Public Bidding Exceptions report.
Additionally, the board may take action on minutes from its May 19, June 2 and July 16 meetings. It also is scheduled to hear, consider and act upon any communications.
Tuesday's meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., and will be held in a hybrid format via Zoom and in the Board of Education Conference Room 295A/B, 501 Kings Highway East in Fairfield.
