FAIRFIELD, CT — "An emergency incident" in Fairfield Monday afternoon is under investigation, the Fairfield Police Department announced.
Details of the Oldfield Drive incident were not disclosed.
"This was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public," Fairfield police wrote on Facebook. "No other individuals are believed to be involved. Police activity will remain in the area while officers and detectives complete their investigation."
Officials added, "Out of respect for those involved and their family, no names or additional details will be released at this time."
