FAIRFIELD, CT — Two familiar voices on Fairfield County radio are no longer in their longtime time slots, with Storm N Norman leaving WEBE 108 and Paul Pacelli's "Connecticut Today" no longer airing on WICC.
WEBE Program Director Robby Bridges confirmed that Norman is no longer with the station as of Friday.
"We were thrilled to bring Norm back to WEBE in 2019 after he had spent many years with the station, and we certainly hope he will remain a part of WEBE in some capacity," Bridges said. "Regardless of what comes next, Norm will always be a part of the WEBE family."
Bridges said Jon Kamal will host the WEBE Wake Up Morning Show moving forward.
Norman has a decades-long history with WEBE. When Connoisseur Media brought him back to the morning show in 2019, the company described WEBE as his radio home of 30 years and said he had previously hosted mornings on the station for decades.
Earlier this year, WEBE continued to promote Norman as one of the "heritage personalities" in its on-air lineup.
WICC is also making a change to its afternoon programming.
Ed Oliveira of Connoisseur Media confirmed that "Connecticut Today with Paul Pacelli" is no longer airing on WICC. Pacelli's final show was Sept. 3.
"Paul is a skilled and talented broadcaster and will certainly find success in his next endeavor," Oliveira said.
Pacelli joined WICC's lineup in 2019 as part of a push by Connoisseur Media to increase the station's local programming.
At the time, Pacelli said his goal was to create "a passionate, entertaining and vital platform for local newsmakers, personalities and residents."
As recently as 2024, WICC promoted Pacelli as part of an entirely locally hosted daytime lineup under its "The Voice of Connecticut" branding.
"Markley, van Camp and Robbins" is now WICC's afternoon drive program, Oliveira said, alongside the station's local news program "The Download."
The program features Jamie Markley, David van Camp and Scott Robbins discussing national news, politics and other current events.
