Here Are 5 Of The Most Recent Property Sales In Fairfield

The most expensive recent sale was for $3,150,000, according to information from Zillow.com.

FAIRFIELD, CT — From a $400,000 condo on Overlook Avenue to a $3.15 million estate on Rowland Road, Fairfield's real estate market traded at every level this month — four of the five sales in this batch, in fact, closed on the very same day.

Five homes sold in Fairfield between Sept. 11 and Sept. 14, with a top price of $3,150,000, according to Zillow.com.

The most recent closings in this batch, all four sold Sept. 14, begin with 282 Glen Ridge Road, which sold for $1,600,000. The five-bedroom, five-bath home offers 4,676 square feet of living space on a 0.46-acre lot, at $342.17 per square foot.

The same day, 18 Hurd St. sold for $940,000. The three-bedroom, two-bath home offers 2,400 square feet on a 9,583-square-foot lot, at $391.67 per square foot.

The top price of the five, also sold Sept. 14, belongs to 679 Rowland Road, which sold for $3,150,000. The four-bedroom, four-bath home offers 3,660 square feet on a 0.28-acre lot, at $860.66 per square foot — more than 50% above the next-highest per-square-foot rate in the batch.

Also closing Sept. 14, 60 Overlook Ave., Unit 60 sold for $400,000. The two-bedroom, one-bath condo offers 1,008 square feet, at $396.83 per square foot.

Rounding out the batch, 27 Brookdale Road sold Sept. 11 for $1,199,000. The three-bedroom, three-bath home offers 2,140 square feet on a 0.27-acre lot, at $560.28 per square foot.

What this says about the Fairfield market: Rowland Road's $860.66 per square foot towered over the rest of the batch, well above every other sale's rate, while the smallest home in the group, the Overlook Avenue condo, still cleared $396 per square foot — even the entry-level end of Fairfield's market is commanding a premium.
