FAIRFIELD, CT — Below are recent obituaries from Fairfield:

Kevin D. Hausmann, 76, of Fairfield, died Oct. 4. Raised in Rowayton, he attended Southern Connecticut State College and began his career at Stauffer in 1975, where he met his wife of more than 45 years, Theresa "Terri" Hausmann.

Gloria J. Jacques, 84, of Fairfield, died Sept. 30 at home. Born in Bridgeport, she was married to Phil Jacques for 63 years.

Kathleen Ann "Kathy" Bryk, 80, of Fairfield, died Sept. 25. An Andrew Warde High School graduate, she was head cook for many years at Fairfield Country Day School. She was the wife of Raymond Bryk.

Alexander "Sandy" Szabo Jr., 81, of Fairfield, died Sept. 23. A Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, he worked for many years as an HVAC technician. He was the husband of Barbara (Wallimann) Szabo.

Theodore "Ted" Colangelo, 91, died Sept. 23 at his home in Southport. A longtime resident of Weston and Vero Beach, Fla., he graduated from Fairfield Prep and Brown University and served in the Coast Guard before a career in advertising.

Emily F. (Ference) Marzulla, 72, of Fairfield, died Sept. 20 after a brief illness. Born in Bridgeport, she worked many years at the Jelliff Corp.

Robert L. Warme, 69, of Fairfield, died Sept. 13. A Roger Ludlowe High School graduate and varsity wrestler, he worked many years as an electronics technician for General Datacom and Digitron.
