Beekeeper Among 97 New Fairfield Businesses Registered In October

FAIRFIELD, CT — Lucy's Bees LLC, which lists its line of work as apiculture, or beekeeping, was among 97 new businesses registered in Fairfield in October, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. The company gave an address on Post Road. Business types are chosen by the filers and were not independently verified.

Real estate led the list, with 20 companies that rent, manage, sell or finance property, including three named for other addresses that all list 26 Barberry Road. Seven businesses listed consulting work. Twenty-two of the new businesses list Suite 200 at 268 Post Road, each with its own box number, and seven gave Southport addresses. Other newcomers include Fing Japanese, a restaurant on Post Road; Front Reaux Center Casting, a talent agency; Myka Fairfield, a snack and beverage bar on Post Road; and Gem House, a jewelry retailer on Puritan Road.
