FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield will mark Veterans Day with three community events, including two ceremonies and a concert at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
Veterans Day is observed Nov. 11 to honor those who have served in the U.S. armed forces.
The Kiwanis Field of Valor ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8, at 2 p.m. at Jennings Park.
On Wednesday, Nov. 11, American Legion Posts 143 and 74 will sponsor a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. in front of Old Town Hall.
Fairfield Ludlowe High School will host its annual Veterans Day concert, "A Salute to Veterans," at 7 p.m. also on Wednesday in the school's auditorium.
The events offer Fairfield residents opportunities to recognize military veterans and their families.
