9th Annual Women's Health Conference

Take care of yourself.  Enjoy a day of fun and camaraderie!

The 9th annual Women's Health Conference, presented by the Women & Family Life Center in partnership with Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman offers women the most current health information presented by leading experts while also providing a fun and relaxing day to connect with other women. This year's theme, "Exploring the Art of Living", excites women's curiosities to embrace new ideas, learn about cutting edge health information, and challenge notions of wellness and being.

Attend breakout sessions that address topics such as cutting edge medicine, wellness, alternative therapies, nutrition or health screening.  Dr. David Katz, MD provides a riveting morning keynote address and NPR's Faith Middleton and Dr. Paul Bloom with provide an engaging lunchtime keynote about How Pleasure Works.  The day is rounded out with an Expo & Marketplace which is open all day where guests can browse , shop, and sample from a variety of organizations and businesses.

New this year is our lunchtime Explorations session.  Choose to view some short international themed films directed by women, take a mini food tour, follow a guided Women of Yale walking tour, meet a local woman making a global difference, enjoy free health screenings or visit the Expo & Marketplace.
