The Family Golf Challenge is an amateur skills competition, featuring a putting and long-drive competition, designed to introduce more women and children to the sport of golf.

Whether you are an avid golfer or, new to the game, the program has been designed to engage two-person teams comprised of adults and kids (7-17) in a fun, rewarding and philanthropic experience. Teams will be comprised of two family members (i.e. father/son, mother/daughter,
uncle/niece, etc.)
The event not only brings the family together but also gets them involved in a charitable cause. The First Tee at Fairchild Wheeler will be the event beneficiary.

Families can register online. The entry fee is $15 per competition, with $5 going to The First Tee of Fairchild
Wheeler. Ten local events are planned for the Northeast in the spring of 2011.
