Annual Clam Clinic In Fairfield Set For September
The event, held at Sasco Hill Beach, is hosted by the Fairfield Shellfish Commission
FAIRFIELD, CT — The Fairfield Shellfish Commission is hosting its annual Clam Clinic from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 14 at Sasco Hill Beach in Fairfield, organizers announced.
Shellfishing permits are not required to participate, though permits (and t-shirts and hats) will be sold at the event. Payments by cash or check only.
The family friendly event will also feature live music, prizes and local clam chowder.

Attendees are asked to bring their own rake, if they have one, and wear footwear for the water.
