Arrests And Incidents In Fairfield: Aug. 11-13 Police Log
A woman threw items and refused to leave a store, a vehicle was stolen from a gas pump, and a house was egged, Fairfield police said.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Here are the arrest and incident logs for Aug. 11 to Aug. 13, 2021, as provided by the Fairfield Police Department. Items reflect charges filed, not convictions.
Wednesday, Aug. 11
12:57 p.m., 500 block of Kings Highway Cutoff: A 37-year-old Bridgeport man was charged with sixth-degree larceny and drug possession after stealing a $499 vacuum cleaner from Home Depot, police said, adding the man also had a small amount of suspected crack cocaine. The getaway driver, a 59-year-old Bridgeport man, was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, according to police.
10:50 p.m., Kings Highway: A person saw their vehicle stolen from a gas pump at Cumberland Farms and later reported finding it in West Haven. Police recovered the vehicle.

Thursday, Aug. 12
8:28 a.m., Berwick Court: A man was reported to have trespassed about 9 p.m. Aug. 11 at Fairfield Motor Works. Surveillance video showed a man park a white Ford Escape, walk around the parking lot and strike a parked vehicle. Under investigation.
Friday, Aug. 13
12:08 a.m., Old Stratfield Road: House and vehicle egged.

9:58 a.m. Greenfield Hill Road and Hubbell Lane: Bridge vandalized with spray paint, public works notified.
11:34 a.m., 2200 block of Black Rock Turnpike: Woman in store throwing things, knocking items off counter and refusing to leave. She was warned not to return.
11:50 a.m., 600 block of Center Street: Nearly $600 in gardening and landscaping items stolen Aug. 8 from a shed, under investigation.
12:45 p.m., 2200 block of Kings Highway: A man stole a Vitamix blender worth $549.99 from Bed Bath & Beyond, under investigation.
