Saturday, Aug. 14
8:15 a.m., 100 block of Fairchild Avenue: Abandoned vehicle, owner taken into custody on warrant, charged with second-degree failure to appear and released on a $500 bond, police said.
10:25 a.m., 500 block of Kings Highway Cutoff: A man stole a $129 impact driver, $129 jigsaw and $99 screwdriver kit from Home Depot, under investigation.

10:43 a.m., 700 block of Riverside Drive: Motorized scooter stolen overnight, under investigation.
12:38 p.m., 400 block of Mill Plain Road: Outside agency employee slamming items and refusing to leave Sturges Ridge assisted living facility. The woman, 34, was warned to stay away and taken into custody on a violation of a probation warrant, police said.

9:51 a.m., 200 block of Stephens Lane: Van broken into overnight, $3,000 in tools stolen, under investigation.
10:49 a.m., 600 block of Fairfield Beach Road: Garage door glass broken overnight, security key pad was up, under investigation.
1:49 p.m., 100 block of Moody Avenue: Unlocked car ransacked overnight, loose change stolen.
Monday, Aug. 16
3:50 p.m., 400 block of Kings Highway East: Shoplifter fled Walgreens on foot, stealing two hair appliances, under investigation.
4:32 p.m., 1800 block of Stratfield Road: Ring camera footage reported, showed vandalism with spray paint in area, under investigation.
5:13 p.m., Philemon Street: Burglary attempt, occurred about 3 p.m., two men in van tried to steal power tools from garage, homeowner stopped them, under investigation.
