FAIRFIELD, CT — Here are the arrest and incident logs for Aug. 26 to Aug. 28, 2021, as provided by the Fairfield Police Department.
Thursday, Aug. 26
1:47 a.m., Brookfield Avenue: Homeowner saw a person in their driveway who then ran toward Villa Avenue, two unlocked vehicles entered.
2:04 a.m., Essex Street: Police saw an unlocked vehicle entered, nothing stolen.

8:51 a.m., 200 block of Woodrow Avenue: Vehicle break-in attempted.
9:04 a.m., Stratfield Road and Montauk Street: School bus spray painted overnight.

9:08 a.m., 1100 block of Kings Highway Cutoff: Catalytic converter stolen overnight from vehicle at Stop & Shop.
9:22 a.m., 100 block of Woodrow Avenue: Wallet stolen overnight from unlocked car, cards being used in New Haven.
1:38 p.m., Eliot Place: About six males sticking cheese to vehicles, hanging out behind Marshall's, Stop & Shop reported the group had bought cheese twice in the same week.
4:42 p.m., 700 block of the Post Road: Stolen vehicle found in Marshall's parking lot, taken to Trumbull Police Department for processing.
4:57 p.m., Black Rock Turnpike: A fraudulent check was used to make a payment at BJ's Wholesale Club.
6 p.m., Black Rock Turnpike: Known shoplifter observed at BJ's Wholesale Club and warned.
Friday, Aug. 27
7:13 a.m., 200 block of Henderson Road: Two vehicles stolen from home overnight, keys taken from first floor, back door was unlocked. Cash and bank cards also stolen from a wallet.
7:27 a.m., 1400 block of the Post Road: Graffiti on side of building.
8:52 a.m., Melville Avenue and Montauk Street: "Press to walk" button spray painted over, "school drop off" sign spray painted with "acab." Happened a few weeks ago, according to complainant. Public works notified.
8:53 a.m., 1200 block of Kings Highway: Wallet stolen while unattended on table near printers at Staples. Contents included $125 cash, banks cards and Social Security card.
4:01 p.m., Eastfield Circle: Caller reported man in a red jumpsuit and covered head to toe in his backyard, last seen going into the woods. Police checked the area but did not find the man.
4:12 p.m., 500 block of Kings Highway Cutoff: Shoplifter at Home Depot, items recovered.
6:38 p.m., 500 block of Algonquin Road: Vehicle stolen from Brooklawn County Club.
Saturday, Aug. 28
4:01 p.m., Fawn Ridge Lane: Vehicle entered and rummaged through overnight.
