FAIRFIELD, CT — Here are the arrest and incident logs for Aug. 6 to Aug. 8, 2021, as provided by the Fairfield Police Department. Items reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Friday, Aug. 6

2:25 a.m., 1100 block of Post Road: Shoplifter fled gas station in a silver sedan with a temporary plate after stealing $266.86 worth of cigarettes, under investigation.

7 a.m., 100 block of Mona Terrace: Vandalism from past few nights reported, racial slurs written on back door, garbage and broken glass scattered on property, under investigation.

11:35 a.m., 3000 block of Park Avenue: Resident returning home after two days away discovered forced entry, residence was ransacked, under investigation.

3:15 p.m., Brooklawn Avenue and Algonquin Road: Three-car accident with injuries.

Saturday, Aug. 7

3:15 a.m., 900 block of East Kings Highway: Two men appeared to work together to steal between 60 and 90 packs of cigarettes from a gas station, under investigation.

2 p.m., zero block of Black Rock Turnpike: Man stole two juice mixers and a computer monitor from a store for a loss of over $1,000, under investigation.

Sunday, Aug. 8

7:30 p.m., 500 block of Fairfield Beach Road: Complainant reported video surveillance from 4:30 a.m. Aug. 6 showed two men try to enter the home and go to the back of the house, where one of the men smeared feces on the patio couches. The men then walked around the property and left. Under investigation.

6:40 p.m., 800 block of Post Road: 35-year-old woman charged with sixth-degree larceny and failure to insure a vehicle after stealing items from a store and putting them in her vehicle, police said, adding a 48-year-old man was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny after he parked in the fire lane in front of the store while the woman was inside.
