9:27 a.m., Webster Street: Person tried to deposit a copy of a check for $3,600.72 in an account, check intercepted, transaction canceled, under investigation.
12:21 p.m., Black Rock Turnpike: 50-inch LG flat-screen TV shoplifted, under investigation.

4:34 a.m., Post Road: 64-year-old Bridgeport man refused to leave a business after being previously warned by police not to return, charged with first-degree trespassing, police said.
10:10 a.m., Black Rock Turnpike: Shoplifting, suspects stole an unknown amount of soap.
2:05 p.m., Kings Highway Cutoff: 31-year-old man charged with fifth-degree larceny after stuffing pockets with tools, turned over to Naugatuck police on a warrant for a second-degree forgery charge, police said.
3:40 p.m., Post Road: Burglary, medical office was entered over the weekend and items were stolen, under investigation.
4:54 p.m., Kings Highway Cutoff: 55-year-old woman charged with sixth-degree larceny after shoplifting, released on a promise to appear in court and turned over to Derby police on a warrant, police said.
9:09 p.m., Post Road: Woman stole tequila, under investigation.
