Back To School: Fairfield Public Schools 2022-23 School Calendar

FAIRFIELD, CT — With summer winding down, thoughts turn to the new school, as families begin to prepare for the academic, sports and social activities that lie ahead.

An essential element of that is school calendars to help parents prepare for the first day in Fairfield Public Schools.

The first day of school for most students in Fairfield is Monday, Aug. 29.

Here is a list of other important dates to remember for the 2022-23 school year:

Fairfield Public Schools

• First Day: Monday, Aug. 29
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-25 (early dismissal for students and staff Nov. 23), no school
• Winter Break: Dec. 26-Jan. 2 (early dismissal for students and staff Dec. 23), no school
• Long Weekend: Feb. 17-20 (early dismissal Feb. 16; President's Day Feb. 20), no school
• Spring Break: April 7-14, no school
• Last Day: June 12*

*June 12 is the planned last day of school. Depending on the number of snow days during the year, that date could change.
