Police Searching For Suspect After Bank Robbery In Fairfield
Police have released surveillance images of the suspect.
FAIRFIELD, CT — Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a bank in Fairfield on Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a report of a bank robbery at TD Bank, 1643 Post Road, around 3:25 p.m. on Oct. 10.
The first-arriving officers determined that a “Hispanic or light-skinned” Black male described to be in his mid-50s with a thin build, around 5 feet, 11 inches tall who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a medical mask, demanded money from the teller and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

Police said no weapon was used and no injuries were reported.
The Fairfield Police K-9 Unit responded to assist with tracking efforts but were unable to find the suspect, according to police.

This robbery is being investigated by the Fairfield Police Detective Bureau, police said.
