With Bear Sightings Up, Fairfielders Asked To Remove Bird Feeders
The area has seen increased reports of black bears in heavily populated residential areas, including 27 sightings in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection recommends that residents remove bird feeders and bird food from late March through November, due to increased reports of black bear sightings in heavily populated residential areas — 27 specific sightings in Fairfield.
