Big Temperature Change This Week
There will be plenty of sunshine and warmth today but things change later in the week.

With things warming up today, if you didn’t look at the calendar you might not realize it’s Oct. 12.
The Columbus Day forecast is amazing with sunny skies and temps in the mid-70s for the entire state.
The temperature remains warm on Tuesday with readings in the low 70s but there is a 30 percent chance of showers any time after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

On Wednesday, another slight chance of showers early and then it’s partly sunny skies with temps falling back into the mid-60s.
On Thursday, it’s a bit chillier with temps in the low 60s but sunny skies, and the Friday forecast calls for a chance of showers and mostly cloudy skies with temps in the upper 50s.

As of right now, the weekend forecast calls for some old-fashioned New England autumn weather with temps in the low to mid 50s but plenty of sunshine.
The big story this week with weather is the more than 20-degree temperature change from Monday to Sunday.
But at least there isn’t any snow in the forecast, at least yet!
