Bigelow Senior Center Going Remote For Most Of January
The Fairfield senior center has temporarily canceled many classes and activities, but will resume in-person programs Jan. 18.
FAIRFIELD, CT — The Bigelow Center for Senior Activities will be going remote for two weeks starting Monday. It will resume in-person programs Jan. 18.
The following classes and activities are canceled: movies, Senior Learning Network, watercolors, Spanish, Diabetes Support Group, blanket making, Brain Games, chess, Flying Aces, pinochle, canasta, Mah Jongg, pickleball, sewing and crafting, ping pong, table pool, woodshop and Mark Albertson.
Those who are registered for an exercise class will be notified by email if the class will be offered by Zoom, or if it’s canceled. Coffee will resume Jan. 18. The senior center offices will be open and available to answer any questions.
