Bomb Threat Evacuates Fairfield Warde High School
A juvenile is in custody and all activities at the school have been canceled, according to police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — A juvenile is in custody for making up a fake bomb threat at Fairfield Warde High School on Friday, according to police. The Fairfield Police Department School Safety Unit received a report of a bomb threat at Fairfield Warde High School on May 25, according to Lt. Robert Kalamaras.
Kalamaras said preliminary investigation revealed that a juvenile, who is currently in custody at police headquarters, fabricated the threat. As a precautionary measure the building and high school campus have been evacuated and are currently closed, according to Kalamaras. All activities on school property have been canceled.
The police department cleared the campus around 6:30 p.m. and the threat was deemed not credible, Kalamaras said.
