Driver Killed in Crash was Arrested on DUI, Drug Charges Six Hours Earlier: Report
A brother and sister were killed in a crash early Wednesday morning after exiting I-95 in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Brandon Dupee, who was killed along with his sister Lindsay Dupee in an early Wednesday morning crash, had been arrested in Norwalk on DUI and drug possession charges about six hours before the car he was driving crashed into trees at a high rate of speed after exiting I-95 in Fairfield, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports that Brandon Dupee, 33, was arrested at about 7:19 p.m. on Tuesday and was bonded out at 12:25 a.m. by a bondsman. The fatal accident occurred at 1:47 a.m.
Brandon Dupee recently moved to Bridgeport where he lived in a condo with his mother, while Lindsay Dupee, 31, lived in Stratford, according to the Post. The siblings grew up in Norwalk.

The accident, which occurred on Sunfield Lane off Exit 21 on I-95 North, remains under investigation, but police said it appears that the vehicle quickly or abruptly moved to exit the highway, according to WTNH.

The Post reports that Brandon Dupee had shared a $1 million lottery prize with a 90-year-old neighbor in 2011 after he had asked his longtime neighbor to go in on a Fourth of July lottery ticket with him.
