FAIRFIELD, CT — A pharmacy was burglarized earlier this month in downtown Fairfield, according to police.

The incident at Unity Pharmacy took place just before 4 a.m. June 3, according to Capt. Robert Kalamaras. About two hours later, an officer discovered the damaged storefront at 1326 Post Road.

Surveillance footage provided by police showed two sedans — one white and one dark — outside the business, as well as six people in dark clothes. One of the group appeared to use a crowbar to break the glass on the front door to allow several of the other suspects to enter the shop, according to the video. The group stole what appeared to be medications from shelves behind the front counter, the recording showed.
