Burglary, Illegal Fireworks Sale: Fairfield Police Reports

FAIRFIELD, CT — The following information was provided by the Fairfield Police Department. All charges are allegations at the time of publication.
• Philip Walter Turpin, 39, of Bridgeport, was charged with larceny after an incident July 9.
• Gus Verras, 59, of the 700 block of East Kings Highway, was charged with burglary and larceny after an incident July 8.

• Jose Nieves, 65, of Bridgeport, was charged with larceny and interfering with an officer after an incident July 8.
• Douglas Parker, 19, of New Haven, was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal attempted burglary, larceny, criminal attempted larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, criminal attempted assault, criminal possession of a weapon, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, risk of injury to a child, engaging police in pursuit and reckless driving after an incident July 7.

• Bruce A. Stern, 28, of the 200 block of Winnepoge Drive, was charged with sale of a hallucinogen or narcotic and illegal possession of a narcotic after an incident July 6.
• Mark L. Lotstein, 50, of the 3900 block of Park Avenue, was charged with illegal sale of fireworks, criminal mischief and reckless endangerment after an incident July 4.
• Edwin F. Hernandez, 18, of Peekskill, New York, was charged with illegal sale or delivery of liquor after an incident July 4.
• Stephen Poremba, 31, of Bridgeport, was charged with larceny, failure to assist an officer and failure to appear after an incident July 3.
• Yldalis Almanzar, 25, of Bridgeport, was charged with larceny after an incident July 3.
• Arib Vahora, 48, of the 100 block of Brentwood Avenue, was charged with assault, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct after an incident July 2.
• Quanitaporcha Kave, 28, of Stamford, was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and larceny after an incident July 2.
• Justin S. Harmon, 32, of Bridgeport, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after an incident July 2.
